[tag]Singapore[/tag] is spick-and-span. Clean toilets, no [tag]vandalism[/tag] etc. That’s Singapore’s image in the world….(and not forgetting the cliched Fine City nickname) But that’s not 100% true.

Took this pix somewhere near [tag]Paya Lebar MRT[/tag]. I was there to get to the shop that produces the customised mugger mugs that we made for Teachers’ Day (look previous entry).
To me vandalism is cool. It’s some sort of an underground arts scene. However perhaps the graffiti artists here ain’t good enough yet. They are just simply spraying some designs with black spray. I wanna see more creative design and more use of colours. Btw, is there a legal graffiti place in Singapore where artists just simply spray their talents out?

Oh..and took this pix too on the way to the mugs shop….Some digging work for the new MRT line going on….Real deep….and am amazed at the engineering feat…

I totally agree- you don’t even have to look at these places, the bushes around the neighbourhood are enough. There’s so much trash in them, usually plastic bags discarded.
As for the hawker centers, we have rats the size of cats!

Hullo there just dropping by for fun! Hope that you’re enjoying every single bit of your holiday! Hmmm I think there is this place somewhere in Orchard where you can draw anything you like on the walls, since they’re designated graffiti boards or something

Hey bobby, there is a place for graffiti writers to vent their expression out - here in Singapore. It is located at Somerset SkatePark (Just beside the train station). Walk further up, theres another wall for writers to paint located at the National Youth Council (adjacent to Cineleisure). Another place will be at the bt.batok skatepark. All these places are legal though. Btw, ive heard Singapore graff scene is the best among its S.East Asian counterparts.
